MORE THAN MACHINES

Question

The Challenge Our customer runs our zipper machines for high-volume two-way zippers. Their sliders came in two specs — upper and lower. Two parts to buy, two to stock, and one extra step at every assembly: identifying which puller to insert. And once mixed, the two were nearly impossible to sort by eye.

Solution

What We Did We learned how much this cost them during an after-sales follow-up. They sent us samples of both pullers — we designed a single universal puller that works in both upper and lower positions, replacing two specs with one.

The Result Purchasing and inventory simplified. Assembly is faster — no identification step before inserting. The mixing risk is simply gone. Daily production runs noticeably smoother, and the customer is very satisfied.

Why It Matters — For us, serving a zipper maker means more than machines that run well; it means helping zipper factories solve more of their production problems.
