Upgrading Plastic Zipper Production from 500–700 to 1,500–2,000 pcs/hour
Customer Challenge
The customer’s plastic zipper production line had been in operation for over 15 years, with most of the equipment being semi-automatic. It required a large number of workers, yet production capacity was limited to only 500–700 pcs/hour.
The Solution and Results
To overcome this bottleneck, the customer upgraded to our new plastic zipper production equipment. After the upgrade, production capacity increased to 1,500–2,000 pcs/hour, more than doubling the previous capacity.
Meanwhile, each production line now requires only 2–3 workers for monitoring, allowing the remaining workers to be assigned to other production tasks.
